Friction Particle Manufacturer in PA

Proposition:
Manufacturer of friction particles for automotive brake pads located in Pennsylvania required to replace 25 year old recuperative thermal oxidizer with newer larger version for the control of Paraformaldehyde emissions.

Resolution:
Customer purchased thermal oxidizer. SES engineer designed new ducting system and supervised the installation and startup of the oxidizer. After balancing the system exhausts to the oxidizer, SES conducted unofficial tests for VOC destruction efficiency and CO emissions. When satisfied with the results, SES submitted the protocol for testing to the PADEP. After approval of the protocol, SES successfully conducted the official control efficiency testing under the watchful eye of the PADEP representatives.
